The two or three hours before a theatrical production hits the stage can be chaotic. Somehow, the cast and crew of the First Instinct Productions performance of The King and I managed to keep the chaos at bay before taking the Naparima Bowl stage last Friday.
Stage manager Gregory Singh had to keep close watch on the time and the cast, but they still found time and space to prepare mentally and physically. Many of the actors have a routine pre-show practice. Others, like to spend the time connecting with fellow cast members. Photographer Kearra Gopee was there to capture the moments.
The King and I shows next at Queen’s Hall from May 30-June 2.
