“Marionettes starts season with a repeat of Les Miz” at Queen’s Hall

Next month, the BP Marionettes kicks off its busy 2015 season with a restaging of its critically-acclaimed production of Les Misérables at Queen’s Hall. Running for just three nights, the production coincides with the worldwide commemorations of the 30th anniversary of what has been called “the world’s favourite musical.” Les Miz opened in London in 1985.

A release from the Marionettes said after months of attempting to secure performance space following the overwhelming response to its original run last July, the Marionettes’ Les Miz returns to Queen’s Hall from May 22 to 24. With a cast and crew of nearly 200 (including two visiting string players from the US, one of whom played for Les Miz on Broadway), patrons are advised that no extensions or television broadcasts are possible.
