“Ivory and Ebony” at Queen’s Hall

Get ready to be inspired and entertained from the emotional majestic music of Beethoven to the toe-tapping, swinging, dancing, music of America’s great Jazz legends, as the Trinidad and Tobago Youth Philharmonic hosts ‘Ivory and Ebony – Symphony Meets Swing,’ at Queen’s Hall, St. Ann’s, P.O.S. on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. respectively. The concerts will be the culmination of SACOTTYP’s 12th annual three week music workshop where approximately 200 string, woodwind, brass, and percussion students ages 4 – 24 have had 90 contact hours supervised by a team of Venezuelan tutors of FESNOJIV (El Systema of Venezuela), led by Mr. Heemath Jahoor, and TTYP’s Music Director, Mr. Kenneth Listhrop.
