“Ten instrumentalists and vocalists met the high standard required to compete and will perform tonight hoping to catch the eyes and ears of the panel of judges for a place in the finals which will take place at 7 pm tomorrow, also at the Queen’s Hall.
Each member of the judging panel is highly qualified in his/her field of expertise to judge the skill and talent of each performer. American mezzo soprano Hilda Harris, formerly a leading artiste of the Metropolitan Opera is currently a member of the voice faculties of Sarah Lawrence College and Manhattan School of Music since 1991, and the Manhattan School of Music Precollege faculty since 2005.
