The Annual Carnival Talk Tent will celebrate it’s 30th anniversary at Queen’s Hall Conference Centre from Friday February 15 to Sunday February 17. The longest running Talk Show in T&T, it was first produced in 1983 by Paul Keens-Douglas and has established itself as an integral part of post-Carnival presentations.
The tent had its beginnings in a genuine Canvas Tent set up on Victoria Ave by Helen Camps to do her theatrical productions and over the years has made it’s home at several venues including The Hollows, St Mary’s College, Astor Cinema, Arthur’s Pub, Roxy Cinema and finally at Queen’s Hall in 1991 where it has remained to this day.
