“Christmas in November” at Queen’s Hall

Classic ballet and contemporary dance styles will be fused together to give patrons a yuletide treat at this weekend’s A Christmas Carousel, presented by Cascade Festival Ballet. The show takes place at the Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s tomorrow and Sunday from 7.30 pm and 6.30 pm respectively.

The group, formed in 1996 by English-born Averil Potter and her daughter Caroline Potter Vilain, are expected to delight with a range of different dance pieces, including a romantic Victorian skating scene to a taste of the Christmas nutcracker. Cascade Festival Ballet comprises a group of 20 dancers chosen from their school of almost 200 dancers that caters to young people keen on developing their talents.
