This year, Heather Henderson-Gordon’s children’s dance school, La Danse Caraibe (LDC), will challenge its audiences with the presentation of the critical production, Crocodile Tears. Directed by Henderson-Gordon, the show runs on November 29 and 30 at 6 p.m. at Queen’s Hall. The production takes a look at various plights across the globe that are unheeded such as the cries of the Earth with its rapidly depleting environment, issues faced by youth surrounding gang violence and societal concerns of domestic violence.
Lovers of dance and the arts can look forward to a diverse showcase of classical ballet, modern contemporary, tap, folk, limbo and hip-hop dance featuring choreography by Henderson-Gordon, Arlene Frank, Candice Ellis, Gregory Breedy, Takyha Springer, Makeba Gabriel and Marielle Dos Santos.
