The Love Movement’s 2014 Presentation “Love Notes” opening at the Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s, on June 8, promises to be its most exciting, entertaining, exhilarating and soul stirring production in its 42-year history.
In the first half of the programme “Love Notes” will feature the children’s choir and some members of the Republic Bank Love Movement Youth Outreach Group in the internationally acclaimed Disney Stage production of The Little Mermaid, Jr. This 60-minute musical is based on the 2008 Broadway production and 1989 animated feature film. Some of the most beautiful music ever written for a Disney musical will be heard, including the popular “Under The Sea” and “Kiss The Girl” sung by Sebastian the Crab brilliantly performed by David Isidore. The famous “Part Of Your World”, Ariel’s haunting aria will be sung by the extremely gifted Chloe Pollonais and Ursula’s dramatic Aria “Poor Unfortunate Soul” will be sung by Imanuel Francis whose performance as the evil sea witch is flawless. It has been heart-warming to see the level of dedication and commitment from children so young, all ensuring that they perform above their best to maintain the high standards set by Disney and Music Theatre International.
