“3 Canal starts a ‘RAW’ War” at Queen’s Hall

3Canal weren’t joking when they said they were going to be RAW for Carnival 2015.

The Woodbrook-based rapso trio lived up to every connotation of the adjective, and then some, during opening night of the production on Thursday, at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s.  Wendell Manwarren, Roger Roberts and Stanton Kewley surveyed the current local political landscape before declaring that an injection of love was needed to heal a “crippling nation”. Theirs was a tough love, a ‘Big Love: Raw, Real and Ready’.
